It offers both head-scratching scientific puzzles fans are used to as well as plenty of zombie-infested death pits that will test your mettle. While not quite as immersive on a Quest 2 compared with the Valve Index, this follow-up to the hugely popular Half-Life franchise is still one of the best VR games. Half-Life: Alyx is one that we won’t stop talking about any time soon. Better yet, VR controllers simulate your hands in-game, letting you interact with her more directly. You'll practically feel her breath on your cheek and the warmth of her fingers on your arm as you laugh and talk the day away. Whether you choose to use OculusKiller or not, Steam VR is home to some truly incredible VR experiences. In VR Kanojo, you can hang out with the lovely girl-next-door, Sakura Yuuhi. In the Steam app, I located the VR Kanojo game, click on properties and the folder opens up. I go to the VR Kanojo website, download the patch that specifies it is the Steam 18+ patch, run the exe file and I get the abdata folder. Find it like you did before but right-click and hit Start instead of Stop. Originally posted by llibal: I can not get the +18 patch to work on the Steam version. Open up Task Manager and start OVR Service again. Meta Quest 2 is the all-in-one system that truly sets you free to roam in VR with no wires or cables to limit your experience.Rename the OculusDask.exe in this folder to, then open up the OculusKiller folder, find ItsKaitlyn03’s replacement OculusDash.exe file and move it into the same folder as the now renamed original. The folder you’re taken to is the home of key files that allow the Oculus PC app to operate properly, but we’re going to need to change some around. Open up File Explorer, and go to C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-dash\dash\bin an easy way to do this is to copy and paste that string into the Address Bar and then hit Enter on your keyboard.Allow it to install and then check your version number again to see if you’re on v30 yet. Enable the Public Test Channel option, then return to the Library section and the Updates tab to see if an ‘Oculus Software Update’ appears. If you still aren’t on v30, go to the Settings section and then the Beta tab. Allow it to update and restart the software if prompted, then check again to see if you are on version 30 or later. wrong position so u cant grab things u need too and cant reset view or change position. Ive got several games simular to this and their all doing the same thing. If you aren’t already on v30 or later, go to the Library section and then the Updates tab, you may see an ‘Oculus Software Update’ item in the list. the menu button no longer works in VR only games but works fine on VR supported games. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the General section where you will find the version number which should read 30.X or higher (it may be a very long version number, like 30.0.0.222.459…).On the left side of the app, select Settings then go to the General tab.If you start it within virtual desktop, you will have positioning/floating problems. you need to start from the game within steam and choose oculus vr, but not from virtual desktop. On your PC, launch the Oculus PC app (if you don’t already have it installed, you can download it here) Tested it with virtual desktop but not with oculus link or oculus airlink. There’s no way to force the update, but if it says ‘No Updates Available’, you could try restarting your headset and checking again. If you aren’t already on v30 or later, see if there’s a prompt to update your headset on the About page next to the Software Update section. I would use a usb 3.0 cord with fiber optic for the best results. Then just launch into steam vr and launch the game from there. On the About page, see the Version section, which should read 30.X or later (it may be a very long version number, like 30.0.0.221.359…) After you add it find it in your library and right-click to the properties and check a box saying it should be treated as a VR game.On the left side of the Settings page, scroll down to find the About section. In your Quest headset, open the Settings app (in your app library). Oculus Air Link requires that both your Quest headset and Oculus PC software are running v30 or later.
